Across the Spider-Verse shares a new teaser for the sequel

Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse is about to drop a trailer, by the looks of things.

The Into the Spider-Verse sequel official twitter account shared a picture of Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy sitting upside down and admiring the New York skyline, shoulders touching. Is Gwen just giving Miles a friendly thumbs up, or is there more?

We should find out in just over a week, as the caption says: “A new sight from across the #SpiderVerse coming 12.13.”

Do we think that means we’ll get a full trailer on December 13? It seems likely. We don’t think they would release a new image just to tease the reveal of another image.

It was revealed that Through the Spider-Verse is actually the first part of a duology, with the second part called Beyond the Spider-Verse and which will be released almost a year later.

It was recently revealed that Scott Pilgrim vs the world Actor and frequent Wes Anderson collaborator Jason Schwartzman would play the film’s villain, The Spot. No and Black PantherAlso joining the cast is Daniel Kaluuya from Spider-Punk, while we’ll hear more about Oscar Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099.

Speaking about how the film will stand out, co-director Christopher Miller said: “It’s a very ambitious sequel because we haven’t just done the same thing over again.

Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse will be released in theaters on June 2, 2023, while Beyond the Spider-Verse is set for March 29, 2023.
