It looks like fans should be worried that Scott Lang is about to take on Marvel’s most fearsome villain since Thanos in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Director Peyton Reed, who returns for his third standalone The ant Man project, teased that Jonathan Major’s return as multiverse villain Kang The Conquer will have a major impact on the MCU at large.
As phase four comes to an end with many unresolved issues, Quantumania promises to look ahead and give fans a glimpse of the havoc Kang will wreak in Avengers: Kang Dynasty.
Reed spoke to Empire about the next Marvel movie and revealed, “I think [Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania] has a profound impact on the MCU.”

“Jeff Loveness, who wrote this film, writes The Kang Dynasty thus, there has been a lot of talk about the impact of this Kang The Conqueror appearance. There are great things in store.”
Previously, Peyton announced that this next project, which continues The Multiverse Saga, will definitely change the direction of the franchise for good.
“The launch of phase 5 is really exciting for us because it is the third [Ant-Man] movie, it’s this trilogy,” he said. Go to Hollywood.
“But there are things happening in this movie that are going to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe permanently. It’s fun for us that Scott Lang is at the center of that change.”

Jonathan Majors made a memorable debut as a variant of Kang, He Who Remains, in Loki in 2021, but Reed warned that fans will encounter a completely different version of the character in this film.
“Kang the Conqueror in our movie is a very different character,” the director teases. “He is someone who dominates time, he is a warrior and a strategist.”
After taking on the Yellowjacket and Ghost, Scott will have his work cut out for him as he takes on what Reed calls “an all-time antagonist” without the help of any other Avengers.
He added, “It’s interesting to me: taking the smallest, and in some people’s minds the weakest, Avenger, and pitting them against this absolute force of nature.”
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is scheduled for February 17, 2023.
