The Great British Bake Off Star Rahul Mandal has announced he is getting married, with the ceremony due to take place tomorrow (December 4).
In an Instagram story, the series nine winner posted several prep clips for an Indian winner, before a secret link in the final story sent fans to another link in which he announced his upcoming wedding.
“Hi everyone, I have something to announce, I’m planning my social wedding tomorrow,” he wrote. “We are both very excited and a bit nervous. It will be a small wedding in India. And yes, to everyone who guessed that this time I am in India for my wedding.

Rahul, who thanked his Instagram “family” for their support, (virtually) invited fans to join in on the special day, saying Bengali culture always invites “friends and family”.
At the end of the post, he revealed that there would be no wedding cake at the ceremony, joking that “everyone is way too nervous to bake a cake” for him.
