The Callisto protocol didn’t have the smoothest launch, suffering performance issues in some scenarios. A new patch is now available on console which includes bug fixes and improvements, as well as new graphics functionality on Xbox Series X.
People playing on Microsoft’s most powerful console will now see ray-traced reflections. Other improvements are also to come. “We are working on optimizations for all platforms daily and listening to your feedback,” developer Striking Distance said on Twitter. “Thank you for your patience.”

Studio Manager Glen Schofield commented on the patch as well, stating that the developer is “listening, fixing, tweaking and updating”. Full patch notes don’t appear to have been made available, but we’ll add them here if they are.
This was the second Callisto Protocol patch this week, following a previous update that included PC performance improvements. PC gamers should now see fewer instances of stuttering, with more optimizations working to further improve the experience.
