Doctor Who Star Ncuti Gatwa has shared more behind-the-scenes footage from the show, including a glimpse of the TARDIS.
The actor, who will take on the role of the Fifteenth Doctor next year, shared a post on his Instagram with a batch of photos, some of which were shared by the show’s official social media accounts yesterday.
One snap, however, (the fifth on the photo carousel) showed a glimpse of the iconic Time Lord vehicle, with the caption reading: “Yesterday. Has been. EXHILARATING!

“I really feel like I have an adrenaline hangover. But boy oh BOYY what we have in store for you. Ps this video is just an excuse to show off the cut of my pants, tell me that you wouldn’t do the same,” he concluded.
Gatwa will make his Doctor debut next year, with Russell T Davies returning as showrunner after a 12-year absence.
The first story will follow “The Power of the Doctor”, which saw David Tennant return to the series to succeed Jodie Whittaker.

The actor, who previously played the Tenth Doctor between 2005 and 2010, recently discussed shock plot developments, explaining the process behind his comeback.
“It was like receiving a very nice gift! It was joyful and a lot of fun,” he recalls. “It was a happy and joyful time fifteen years ago – and going back to it could have been awkward or difficult.
“Maybe I couldn’t have run that fast, but we had a great time. Russell T Davies was back to lead the series and I felt like I was never away. I don’t know if he was given the idea to take Doctor Who back, but we certainly felt that if he did, we couldn’t let these youngsters have fun,” he said.
Doctor Who returns in 2023 on BBC One in the UK and Disney+ somewhere else. Meanwhile, in the US, the show airs on BBC America, with series 1-12 available on HBO Max. Classic Doctor Who flow on Brit Box the UK.
