Emily in Paris creator Darren Star called the former sex and the city star Kim Cattrall to join her show.
The pair have known each other well since their time on that last show, which saw Cattrall play Samantha Jones in the original iteration of the series and two feature films.
After attending the premiere of the third season of Emily in Parisrumors swirled that she might make an appearance on the Netflix show, and Star didn’t really stop them by talking to People at the New York premiere for the final season.

“For me, it’s never about stunts per se,” he said. “It’s about finding the right role for the right person. And I would love to work with Kim and it’s just about finding a role that’s worthy of Kim. If it works for that, it’ll be fun. So let’s see what happens.
Cattrall would have time to do so, given that she did not return for the sex and the city revival series, And just like that….

The third season of Emily in Pariswhich stars Lily Collins in the lead role, will premiere on December 21, and Star recently said the latest batch of episodes will see Emily and co in new locations outside of the French capital.
“We are always thinking about how we can show Paris,” he said. The variety. “It’s not hard to make Paris amazing, because it is, no matter where you look or where you point the camera. We will always want the story to lead to locations. but we have some very nice locations planned for season three in France, not just Paris.
Emily in Paris seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on Netflix and season 3 will premiere on December 21.
