Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks will be launch the heartbreaking story of Juliet Nightingale next week, as she undergoes tests in hospital.
The winter trailer for the Channel 4 soap opera predicted a difficult time ahead for Juliet and her loved ones, as she learned she might have cancer.
Juliette will worry about her health in the symptoms to come, when she suffers from a continuous illness.
While Nadira is thrilled to introduce Juliette to her father, this time as a girlfriend, Juliette is too ill to attend lunch and asks if they can reschedule.
As Juliette’s symptoms persist, she decides to get checked out at the hospital, where sparks fly between her and Peri – who is desperate to find her.
After undergoing a series of tests, Juliet promises Nadira that she will cook a rearranged lunch with her father, but that all changes when she returns to the hospital.
There, Juliette hears news about Misbah – she needs a biopsy.
Because of this, Juliette sets up a furious Nadira – who is quick to confront her the next day.
As Nadira demands answers about Juliette’s no-show, she is shocked by Juliette’s quick response.
Donna-Marie also becomes suspicious when she spots a text message on Juliet’s phone and assumes that her daughter’s distracted behavior must be because something is going on with Peri.
As Juliet tries to keep everyone in the dark about what’s really going on, she ends up breaking down in front of Misbah.
She is later told that an appointment for her biopsy has been made for her later that day, but decides not to share it with Nadira – or anyone else.
Juliet also tries to keep Peri at bay and insists she doesn’t want to be with her or Nadira.
In the meantime, Ste finds a flyer that Juliette dropped and immediately puts two and two together.
Determined to be there for her, Ste supports Juliet on her hospital appointment, while James rushes to be there as well.
With James and Ste by her side, Juliet receives her results in emotional scenes – but what does the future hold?
