At home and away hinted that Cash Newman may seek revenge for the disastrous car accident on his sister Felicity’s wedding day.
Last week, the show’s 2023 comeback episode in Australia saw Felicity Newman and Eden Fowler find themselves on a collision course with Justin Morgan and Leah Patterson on the road, leaving lives hanging in the balance.
Eden was driving Felicity to her wedding when she found herself unable to brake, causing an accident. Felicity, Justin and Leah all escaped relatively unscathed, but Eden did not regain consciousness in the hospital and may have permanent brain damage.
Although Cash initially accused Justin of shoddy work, as he helped fix Felicity’s wedding car, Monday’s Australian episode (January 16) revealed the truth about the accident.

Cash’s police colleagues reported to him confirming that someone had deliberately cut the brake lines.
The policeman immediately apologized to Justin for unfairly blaming him, but then his thoughts turned to who might have been responsible.
Cash correctly guessed that the culprits were the biker gang that had hit him before. The grudge goes back to gang leader Marty who killed Cash in self-defense last year.
Later, Cash visited an unconscious Eden’s bedside and shared his plans for revenge on whoever was responsible for her injuries.

Cash said, “Sorry you got caught up in this. Whoever did this to you, was after me. Don’t worry – I’ll find them and make them pay for what they’ve done.”
This week’s episodes will see gang member Tex Wheeler return when Cash visits him in jail for a showdown.
Will Cash find a way to fight back, or will Tex and the other gang members keep the upper hand?
