We’ve known Marvel’s Loki and his Time Variant Authority (TVA) best friend Mobius Mr. Mobius would be reuniting for a while, but now there’s proof.
Disney+ has released a clip showcasing its 2023 slate, including a preview of the second season of Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief series. The video shows the MCU star and Owen Wilson as Mobius, all dressed in suits and bow ties, alongside two possible variations of Loki in similar outfits.

This two-second scene reassured fans that Mobius is definitely returning for Chapter Two, but doesn’t say much about whether he’ll remember his connection to Loki.
Season 1 ended with Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) killing a variation of Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), altering the reality of the Sacred timeline. Once back at TVA, Loki is happy to reunite with Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) and Mobius there, though he soon discovers they have no idea who he is.
It stung even more as Mobius and Loki managed to forge a friendship while the Norse god helped the agent follow a dangerous variation (later revealed to be Sylvie).
The new video doesn’t offer any insight into this variation of Mobius remembering Loki, but it’s entirely possible the two characters recreated their friendship from scratch.

Speaking of Mobius, a clip released earlier this year hints that Mobius may finally be fulfilling his dream of riding a jet ski.
In the first season, the agent was obsessed with jet skis, although he never was. In a short video posted by a fan this summer, Hiddleston was spotted performing a scene with a sign for Piranha Jet Skis next to him.
Could this be a hint that Loki will help Mobius achieve his wish? We will have to wait for season 2 to find out.
