Manchester United legend Paul Scholes doesn’t seem upset by Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure.

This follows his explosive interview with Piers Morgan last week when he criticized the club, the Glazers, manager Erik ten Hag and his teammates.

United announced Ronaldo left with immediate effect on Tuesday and Scholes was not complimentary when reacting to the news on social media.

In an Instagram Story post, which now appears to have been deleted, Scholes wrote, “Mission accomplished…a***d!

Ronaldo’s exit has been mutually agreed, but Sportsmail can reveal United have not paid any compensation for the remaining seven months of his £500,000-a-week contract at Old Trafford.

United’s lawyers have been looking to tear it up ever since Ronaldo’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan aired in two parts last week.

“I wish the team every success for the rest of the season and for the future.”
