Osteosarcoma is a form of cancer that strikes the cells that form bone. It is mainly found in the legs and arms. Unlike many other forms of cancer, it is most common in teenagers and young adults. Treatment ranges from chemotherapy and surgery to radiation therapy.
The Buckeyes are scheduled to play the first leg of the College Football Playoff on Dec. 31 against the undefeated defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs.
