A new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s film Oppenheimer is here.
Featuring woozy Blinkers‘ Cillian Murphy as famed theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, the film traces the scientist’s creation of the atomic bomb during the arms race after World War II.
“We imagine a future and our imaginations horrify us,” Oppenheimer says of Murphy in a voiceover as images of explosions and nuclear meltdown appear on screen.
“They won’t be afraid of it until they understand it. And they won’t understand it until they use it,” he continues.
