The Channel 4 sitcom peep show gets an American remake of Atlanta writer Stefani Robinson.
According The Hollywood ReporterRobinson will serve as screenwriter for the updated series, adapting the screenplay from Succession the original from creator Jesse Armstrong.
Armstrong, who co-created the Channel 4 sitcom with Sam Bain, is set to produce in the US peep show of the Disney-backed cable network FX Productions with Bain.

Robinson will serve as executive producer alongside Armstrong whose involvement will end there due to his commitments to the hit HBO series. Succession.
Following the narrative format of the original series, the update peep show will tell the story of a “long-suffering assistant and her boss, an emotionally unstable tech entrepreneur.”
As executive producers alongside Armstrong, Robinson and Bain are Atlantaby Dianne McGunigle, Hannah Mackay and Ben Farrell.

This is not the first time that FX has tried to redo peep showthe network previously attempted a gender-reversed version in 2019.
Other previous attempts to adapt the series for American audiences have been made by several networks, including Starz which planned an update of the series in 2016, Fox whose own adaptation dates back to 2005, and Paramount in 2008.
