Snowpiercer star lands her next movie role

snowdrops is coming to an end, but Mickey Sumner fans have a brand new opportunity to see her on the big screen.

Sumner plays Bess Till in the hit Netflix show based on Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 film, and is now set to star alongside Elizabeth Banks in A mistake.

A synopsis of the film, via cornerstone movieteased the upcoming drama: “Elizabeth is a gifted surgeon – the only female consultant at her hospital. But as she operates on a young woman, something goes horribly wrong.

“In the midst of a new program to publicly report on the performance of surgeons, her colleagues begin to close ranks and Elizabeth’s life is turned upside down. Tough and abrasive, Elizabeth survived and succeeded in this most demanding field. But can she survive a single mistake?

As reported by Deadline, Sumner will play Elizabeth’s partner. The character is a nurse in the hospital and doesn’t necessarily stick by Elizabeth’s side when things start to go downhill.

Looks like Sumner’s new role won’t be as faithful as Bess Till.

snowdrops announced that its upcoming fourth season will be its last and that it began production this summer.

By the end of the third season, Bess had elected to remain aboard the Snowpiercer while Layton’s Big Alice crew traveled to the Horn of Africa. With an ending scene showing a missile exploding at an uncomfortably close distance from the Snowpiercer, season four will likely start with plenty of action.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Banks’ next film, cocaine bearis due to premiere in February, with the multi-talented star working on the project as director and co-producer.

A mistake hasn’t received a release window yet. snowdrops broadcast on TNT in the United States. UK viewers can catch up on every season on Netflix.
