Last night (November 20) Come dance strictly saw Tyler West and Dianne Buswell knocked out of the competition after facing Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu in the dreaded dance-off in Blackpool. Only Anton Du Beke voted to save them.

Now, Dianne has shared a touching post on Instagram thanking her celebrity partner, writing, “Between your smile, your presence and your collection of torches, my God, you lit up the room and the dance floor.

“I am eternally grateful to have been the lucky girl to have been chosen to dance with you. Your energy, your smile, your zest for life were with us from the first day of rehearsals until this EPIC SALSA. I am a teacher proud to have trained a 12-foot handball champion to dance and who I now class as a dancer.

“Thank you so much for being the best xx team TYDI will live on.”

On the show last night, Tyler said the pageant and Dianne “changed my life” and that taking part in the pageant boosted her confidence immensely.

Saturday’s episode also saw the award-winning top 40 of this series (mostly due to Craig Revel Horwood scoring lower than everyone else), for Fleur East and Vito Coppola performing a Couple’s Choice routine to a Destiny’s Child megamix.

“It was an iconic routine that will go down in history, but you know, one of the biggest things I loved the most was when you trusted the imbalance,” the judge enthused in Chef Shirley Ballas.

“It’s so hard! I don’t think we’ve seen this before on Strictly – you were absolutely phenomenal!”

Come dance strictly airs Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: it takes two aired weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are also streaming on BBC iPlayer.
