‘Super Lone Survivor’, ‘New Joe & Mac’, plus today’s other new releases and sales – TouchArcade

Hello dear readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade roundup for November 25, 2022. Today we’re looking at the week’s remaining releases, and I’ll be honest with you: it’s not a great assortment. Still, there are at least two things worth mentioning, so I’ve gone ahead and made summaries of each of them. After that, we have the new and outgoing sales listings. Normally this is a highlight of Friday’s articles, but this week’s Cyber Deals stuff has already covered most of the games. The little list we have is pretty powerful, though. Let’s go!

New releases

Rebooted KnifeBoy ($14.99)

This is a Metroidvania-style game with a bizarre style and frankly crude gameplay mechanics. KnifeBoy was killed by someone he trusted and now he’s back for revenge. Explore an alternate Nevada, find upgrades and other collectibles, and rescue your former partner. I guess if you’re looking for a somewhat chaotic take on the genre, you might want to dig into this one.

How to Fool a Liar King Remastered ($14.99)

This visual novel follows How to take off your mask and begins right after the end of this story. The heroine Regina suddenly appears in the kingdom of Eroolia, without knowing how she got there or how to return home. It helps if you played the previous game, but you can just skip here if you want. Either way, there will probably be kisses.

Pocket Pool ($3.99)

Ha! With a name like that, I’m sure we’re in for a game of saucy billiards. Nope? Is it just billiards on fun-shaped tables? Well, ok. You have fifty different levels to play here, and you can attract friends for local multiplayer. Up to four players can participate at a time. It pretty much covers everything.

New Joe & Mac – Caveman Ninja ($29.99)

Remember this remake of Toki who took the original arcade game and improved the presentation? This same developer has done his work with Joe & Mac: Ninja Caveman. You get two modes here, one of which is just a straight remake of the arcade game and the other with some new content to enjoy. Naturally, you can play co-op here if you have a friend who wants to join locally. Someone somewhere has asked for this.

Super Lone Survivor ($24.99)

This is a remake of the original sole survivor, which came out about ten years ago. Wow, time flies. Anyway, the presentation has been improved and there is new content to discover. The original game is a rather well-regarded 2D entry into the horror genre, and the reception for this remake has been quite positive on other platforms.

My Universe – My Baby Dragon ($29.99)

Raising babies wasn’t enough, I guess. No, now you gotta raise baby dragon. Listen, I’m not going to stop you. Hatch the eggs, teach them to fly, all that stuff. Unfortunately, you can’t teach them to eat knights. And that’s too bad, because I can think of at least five knights who need to eat.

Fire All Humans ($5.99)

A wacky physics puzzle game where you launch humans to solve various objectives at each stage. There are twenty-four levels in total and it all looks just silly enough to make it worth the six bucks.

Simon: The Memory Game ($3.99)

I feel like there’s a good chance that this new publisher, Red Fables, is just Cooking & Publishing under a different name. I think because it’s another one of those trash level games where you answer a series of questions and then have to repeat your answers without making a mistake. The gimmick is that you’re supposed to speak to your 1980s self, which only works if you were alive in the 1980s. And look at this picture. Dude, I was in the 1980s, and our hairstyles were a lot more mullet than that. A plot. Either way, this game is trash. Leave it in the trash. Red Fables, I have my eye on you.

Furry Hentai Tangram ($2.99)

Sigh. A tangram puzzle game from Gamuzumi. The theme is what the title says. Don’t look up the name on the Internet; the regrets will be real.
