The Flash’s Stephen Amell wants to return for final season

the flash will be back on the air soon, and Stephen Amell has shared that he’d love to get in on the action.

Amell played Oliver Quinn (Green Arrow) on the show that launched the entire Arrowverse, and while his story ended on that show, he’s ready to dive back in for the flashninth and final season.

The actor opened up about his desire to return to the CW show during an Instagram Live with fans, though he also confirmed he hasn’t been asked to dress up…yet.

During Instagram Live, he said (via RBC): “People ask me if I’m going to come back for the flash last season. Guess you’ll just have to watch. I haven’t been asked, but, you know, that would be fun.”

Earlier this year, the actor also opened up about what could bring him back into the fold.

When asked if he would consider returning, he replied, “Oh sure. I owe the folks at DC, The CW and Warner Bros. Television so much. I love the character so much and I don’t love him. more so now that it’s been two years since we finished the show…”

He also added, “So if I can ever be of service, if I can be of service to the Arrowverse in any way, shape or form, or better yet, take it to a new place, which , I think, would be the most interesting way forward, whether in a limited capacity or on a different platform, maybe one where we could show some blood, that would be really cool.”

So, it looks like Amell wants a bloodier, higher-stakes season nine to wrap up ten years of the show if he picks up his bow and arrow again.

the flash aired on The CW in the United States. sky showcase and NOW broadcast the show in the UK.
