I’m a big fan of tiny mini-ITX builds (opens in a new tab) that hide your PC, but I also love a loud and proud RGBehemoth (opens in a new tab). The choice between minimalist styling versus bright lights and power on display is one of the hardest to make, and finding common ground is kind of irrelevant. Or so I thought, but it turns out there are masters of the middle ground, and one of those builds is this gorgeous glass desk feature.
Kumag1989 released their glorious new version on the Nvidia Reddit (opens in a new tab) which shows off one of the most beautiful – yet still workable – desktop gaming PCs I’ve ever seen. Rather than going small to try and fit everything into a slim build, they’ve gone bigger leaving a lovely airy glass display, complete with a cute faux plant. It’s wonderfully clean and relaxing while offering tons of usable desk space on top.
The whole glass surrounds with white-lit fans and matching water cooling really make the whole PC look like a useful piece of art on display, rather than a beastly gaming machine. The square frame with central plant gives off futuristic zen garden vibes.
Everything is laid out beautifully thanks to all the space used, so it’s more relaxed than cramming components into a small space. Instead, here we can see everything at work and it’s just lovely.
Further down the reddit post, Kumag1989 posts the specs used, which unsurprisingly starts with a custom table. It’s a shame we haven’t really seen an increase in pre-made table builds just in case, given how beautiful they can be.
It also uses a custom water cooling loop solution, but that’s quite common with high-end PC builds, and there are plenty of options on the market. If you have the skills and materials to craft something like this, the rest is mostly to buy as is.
The innards of this beauty are an Intel i9 11900K paired with an RTX 4090, so it’s definitely not just skin here. This sits on a Z590 Aorus Pro ATX motherboard, with 32GB of RAM. This would be a very nice kit to play on, that’s if you can walk away from admiring the build long enough.

There are a few downsides to this beauty though, as Kumag1989 admits in the thread. Having that much glass is just ripe for fingerprints, and you have to be very careful about that. No matter how much you get booed in Overwatch 2 by an overpowered Sojourn principal, there’s no rage about walking off the table with this bad boy. That being said, I think looking at this beautiful build would be more than enough to calm me down even after the toughest loss.
