The only way is Essex recently revealed that they won’t be producing a Christmas special, which has fans worried about plans for the future.
However, it turns out there’s nothing to worry about, as actor Saffron Lempriere has cleared the air and confirmed the show will go on.
In fact, the Christmas special should go ahead as usual next year, so fans have something festive to look forward to in 2023.

Safran took part in the strange world premiere – a Disney film with Jake Gyllenhaal and Gabrielle Union at the helm – and took the opportunity to explain Essexmas’ lack of The sun.
She said: “No Christmas special this year which is a shame. I know a lot of people were looking forward to it and everyone loves watching it.
“Don’t worry, it just means we’ll be back with two very important and exciting series next year. That’s the plan.
“So much is happening with the return of Big brother too, but TOWIE will be back with two great shows next year.

This year is not the first time The only way is Essex chose not to air a special episode. In 2018, the show also opted to skip the festivities.
Considering the show has remained strong since then, it doesn’t seem like anyone needs to worry about Essexmas’ absence this year; in fact, if Saffron is to be believed, there is much to look forward to.
