Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey unveiled his first look at Christopher Robin.
The slasher horror movie is based on AA Milne’s first film Winnie the Pooh book, but follows a much darker and ominous path as Pooh and Piglet go on a rampage after Christopher abandons them.
The new stills tease a potential flashback to the film, as Christopher is pictured smiling as a young boy.
In the trailer, released earlier in the year, an adult Christopher returns to Hundred Acre Wood after college and reunites with his old childhood friends.
However, they are not happy to be reunited with him.

“We were friends, why are you doing this? I would never have left, I swear,” Christopher was seen pleading with Pooh and Piglet who have gone wild and vicious after years of neglect.
Director Rhys Waterfield explained the dark turn Pooh and Piglet have had since knowing Christopher as children, and the impact being left in the woods has had on both of them.
“Because they had to fend for themselves so much, they basically went wild,” Waterfield said of the iconic duo while speaking to HuffPost. “So they’ve gone back to their animal roots. They’re no longer tame: they’re like a vicious bear and pig wanting to roam around trying to find prey.”
Although it was based on children’s stories, Waterfield revealed that not all characters made the cut.
Eeyore’s melancholy tones will be missed in the film, as he fell victim to his friend’s mean side.
“Eventually it got to the point where it was so bad and there was no food in the forest for Pooh and Piglet, and they made the difficult decision to kill and eat Eeyore,” Waterfield added. . Attractive.
