Witcher and Hollyoaks stars join The Lazarus Project season 2

The Lazarus Project season two added two new stars to its cast – from Netflix the witcher and long lasting soap Hollyoaks.

The Lazarus Project follows a secret organization that is committed to stopping mass extinction events by rolling back time. The first season featured I can destroy youby Paapa Essiedu, BodyguardAnjli Mohindra from Strike, Tom Burke from Strike, Rudi Dharmalingam and Charly Clive.

Meanwhile, Hollyoaks actor James Atherton also joins the cast. Atherton is best known for playing serial killer Will Savage in Hollyoaks from 2011 to 2015. He also starred in Coronation Street and Victim.

The Lazarus Project the first season aired earlier this year and ended with plenty of twists and turns that set up a second season. Creator Joe Barton – who also created Giri/Hajias well as wrote episodes of Humans and recent success The bastard son and the devil himself – teased a second season and said he has lots of ideas for what might happen to his characters in a follow-up outing.

“I just have a few random ideas,” Barton said. “It wasn’t until I wrote the last episode that I understood what the ending would be.”

These ideas will now be a reality after the series renews in August.
